An Otaku’s Basic Commodity
Okay Okay Okay! I admit, I am an otaku! Anime with a touch of gaming geek to be precise. My Ultima weapon – my computer table, filled with all my otaku commodities. Starting with my PC

It’s not the type to boast for, really. My desktop is very very simple. Good enough for my surfing, gaming, and learning purposes.
My monitor is already about 4 years old. A 15 inch white AOC monitor. Quite old but very sturdy. Very good staying up till late night gaming.

I have an A4 Tech silver and black (LCDS-720) keyboard. It is slim, and very very soft. Makes you wanna type more! XD This is teamed up by an A4 ball black mouse. I prefer this more because of its consistency. I give up using scroll mouses, unless its for learning Maya.
I received a Genius G-Pen F610 Pen Tablet from my boyfriend last year. I seldom use it though, because it is quite inconsistent. I’m not sure if its wth the pen or the tablet. Though when it works, it provides good performance. Sensibility of the pen with the tablet works well in Photoshop CS2 (haven’t tried it on CS3 or CS4 though). Flaw: USB connection. Since the USB connection is fixed on the device itself, once its damaged, this item will make no sense at all.

My PC is all powered up by na AMD Athlon X2 2.7 GB True Dual Core, MSI K9N6PGM2 Mainboard, 2Gig DDR2 RAM, and supported by a 80GB and a 40 GB hard drives. For backup purposes, I have a black LG DVD writer. I have been owning an HP Deskjet F380 all-in-one printer, copier and scanner for 3 years now. Prints are awesome; Scans are sleek… haven’t tried using the copier since I’m not using it for mass copies. XD For my internet, I am using Sun Wireless broadband with speed up to 2GB, and believe me, it works good on my PC.

The old white speaker at the back is the oldest item on my desk. It is already 8 years since I had it on my first PC bundle. And from that initial bundle, and after all upgrades, this one still is working.
My PSP 2000 (which I bought 2 years ago) is also by my side and has always been my best friend. It had taught me how to appreciate RPGs, so currently my fingers are tingling for Disgaea 2 and I am waiting for the release of Kingdom Hearts in PSP.
Speaking of Kingdom Hearts, I now have 2 handheld consoles. Added on my console is a Nintendo GameBoy Micro which I was able to get from our high school batch’s auction. Why? Pretty much for my Kingdom Hearts series gaming experience. How much? It’s a secret

My computer table is not an otaku table if it has no anime stuff, so I have DeathNote set near the phone, and this morning, I placed my Afroken plushies on it.

To cap off my share of the space in our house, I have a shortcut space for grabbing my favorite manga, Rurouni Kenshin. TRIVIA: I have not finished watching this on anime, I NEVER even dared to read this online, but I want to know the story by buying the manga. My boyfriend helps me complete the set, and we are on chapter 20 already (on pic was only 17). So I keep the left side section of my PC for my RK manga section.

KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU!
At last! I’m able to post one of my brother’s hidden talent: his version of KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU (Summoning Technique). Enjoy! ^_^

Where Toys, Hobbies, and Collectibles Meet
When you see different strangers in violet- blonde range of hairs, ninjas hiding in plant bushes and posts, emo-gothicas, and mechas ruling SM Megamall’s Megatrade hall in June, it is definitely Toy Con Time!!! ^_^
I’ve been joining this event as a mere expectator for 4 years already (since the 4th Philippine Toys, Hobbies, & Collectibles Convention in 2006). Being in here this year, well, gives us reunion with some familiar faces, and new ideas for the new booths that was in store inside Megatrade Hall 2.

With Ate Stuffed Toy on Toy Con
Ate Stuff Toy, as I oftenly call her, has been one of those i oftenly expect to be there in Toy Con. I’ve been buying stuffed toys in her booth whenever i have the chance since Phil Toy Con 2007 (where i bought my Kon Flush Doll). if you have also read my blog about Totoro, where i bought one totoro bag, it was on her booth where my brother and i found it. ^_^ for this year, i bought a Tamama flush doll found on my keroro blog. ^_^ cool booth!!!
One update i noticed is that the booths are also selling accesories and outfits, as well as custom cosplay outfits and props. being a hat-freakazoid, i also bought one hat ^_^
some new some old, but indeed i may say that cosplay is getting better as years pass by.

Jam and Bumble bee

Jam With Ichimaru Jin from the props

Master Roxas with his Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades!

Whose got the bigger muscles? Goku's... or Mine's?!?!

Pretty Sakura-chan strikes a pose!!!

Jam and Rock Lee with their Fighting pose

Lights up with Dark Magician Girl
There were also these Stitch-look-a-like-modeled figures displayed in glass cabinets and painted with different designs… well my brother said that this figure is 2009 Toy Con’s mascot… well i am not really sure about that so please correct us if we are wrong

Toy Con will not be complete without the collectibles. this year, they have provided a separate room for those hobbyist who wants to exhibit their one of a kind collections.

One Hobbyist displays his collections of Zoids... pretty neat!!! ^_^

Figures Everywhere, everywhere I go...

Joker Makeover: Before and After

Heroes come back!!!
There is also a photoshoot contest. this year’s theme is a photoshoot of action figures (or so i think). my bro and Marc were away from me when i visited this section and i had my own picks. My cellphone was with my bro that when they came on that section, he tooks shots of his favorites. well guess what, we had the same picks. Bloodline rules! hehehehe!

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi
After the catwalk of a total of 170 cosplayers, we were so tired (tired of posing on the corner side where all cosplayers go after their catwalk, wahahahaha!). So we decided to go and grab something to eat…
